What I Got Up To: March 2017

What a beautiful month!  Spring is my favourite time of year - flowers are blooming, the sun is out (but not so warm that I start to melt) and everyone seems to be more cheerful than in the gloomy winter months.

After living in Twickenham for just about a year and a half, I finally went to my first rugby game!  I was lucky enough to watch the Harlequins vs Newcastle Falcons from the comfort of one of the boxes (thank you Mr Jones' job!) which was a real treat - a proper dining table, delicious buffet and plenty of wine!  The wine and food was a bit of a distraction but I managed to sit through the first half of the game.  I still don't really understand how it works though...

I was also super lucky to have dinner for the second time at Hakkasan in Mayfair and I was just as impressed with the whole experience as I was the first time.  All I have to say is "sea bass" - read all about it here!

Food - without a doubt, the entire meal at Hakkasan.  I mean, gold leaf on the dim sum?  And sea bass that I will probably still be talking about a year later?  It was pretty special!

Film -I wasn't bowled over by the description in Netflix but the ratings were pretty high so had to give it a chance - "The Fundamentals of Caring".  I loved the humour and it was an all-round touching story!

Music - I'm back listening to Richard Ashcroft on favourite at the moment is "Hold On" from his new album.
